Warrior Spirit

When I came to you, you shut the door.

I had to keep on knocking because I knew you needed me, as much as I needed you.

I could see you were struggling. I could see you in despair.

But that spark of love never diminished. It never died.

And neither did I.

I kept on knocking until the warrior lifted her head and acknowledged her heart’s desire.

To find the lost and missing.

The warrior spirit, for us both, was ignited.
